Happily Adopted

I didn't name the title after a trope, shut up.
Here's little Lucy and little Lee with their sort of adopted moms. (Lucy calls Sayaka 'Aunt Sayaka', but Lee does call Beatricel 'mum'.)
Sayaka is Annika's childhood best friend, and Beatricel is married to Pedro's brother Marco, making her Lee's aunt. So, the one who actually is an aunt doesn't get called 'aunt' but the one who isn't does. Hm.

It's common knowledge in the town that Sayaka adopted Lucy (you couldn't really lie and say she was her daughter, since Lucy's white and Sayaka's Asian.) Lee, on the other hand, personally knows that he's adopted but the public story is that he is Marco and Beatricel's son, since he does look like his uncle (since Marco and Pedro looked similar). He was only told the truth when he was old enough to be able to keep it a secret.
